Sunnyside is the meticulously restored and charmingly picturesque home of "Sleepy Hollow" author Washington Irving. The 18th century home is located on a protected 55 acre estate overlooking the Hudson River.

Its romantic landscape offers many spots for wedding ceremonies and cocktails, all with grand sunset river views.

Ceremonies can be held in the beautiful garden, in front of the wisteria-covered cottage, or on "Daffodil Hill" overlooking the Spanish-style tower of the cottage below.

"Daffodil Hill" also makes a perfect setting for cocktails under a tent, as does the cottage's porch and adjacent shady lawn.

Sunnyside offers a tented, brick-paved courtyard with seating for up to 120 guests, suitable for intimate wedding receptions, as well as corporate events. Tenting for larger groups can be arranged in other areas of the estate.
